When is the right age for a neck lift?
There is no fixed age — what matters is the presence of visible neck laxity, banding or submental fullness. Most patients are in their 40s–60s.
Will it lift my face too?
A neck lift specifically addresses the neck and jawline. For comprehensive lower-face rejuvenation, it is commonly combined with a facelift.
Will the bands come back?
Once the platysma is tightened, the bands do not return. The skin continues to age but the band repair is durable.
Can I have just liposuction without a full neck lift?
Yes — if your skin tone is good and there are no muscle bands, submental liposuction alone may give an excellent result.
How visible are the scars?
The submental scar is small and concealed beneath the chin. Behind-ear scars are hidden by hair and ear contour. With proper care, both fade significantly.
